BIOGRAPHY

Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang is a renowned master of Arabic Calligraphy. He was born in 1963 in Shangdong province, China, and brings an immense learning in traditional thought and Islamic art to a modern audience, juxtaposing them in a new calligraphic style of his own.
The outcome of his work is an amalgamation of masterful calligraphic technique which uniquely fuses Chinese and Arabic arts.
His work has been collected and displayed in galleries and museums around the world, such as the British Museum, San Franscisco Aslan Museum, National Museum of Scotland and Harvard University Art Museum.
Noor Deen has lectured and led workshops in some of the most renowned and prestigious institutions, namely Harvard University, Cambridge University, University of California-Berkley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Bukhari Institute. He currently lectures Arabic Calligraphy at the Islamic College in Zhen Zhou, China and the Zaytuna Institute in California.
